I am a Norwegian mechanical engineering student at Bath, and the ambition is simple to state: a career spent building the fastest car in the world. Suspension is where I have planted myself, because suspension is where a car's performance is delivered; aerodynamic platform control, mechanical grip and tyre behaviour all pass through it.

At Team Bath Racing Electric I design suspension: the CFRP pushrods documented on this site, the outboard assembly they belong to and the load tooling behind them. In summer 2026 I am an engineering intern with Van Amersfoort Racing's test team. Before that came two race weekends embedded with a Porsche Carrera Cup team, a mechanic placement at an independent Porsche specialist, and a first place in Ferrari's virtual work experience.

Before university I founded and ran a ski-instruction business in Oslo for two years. I ski for the university team, play football for the department and have taught sixth-form maths and physics. I am not an engineer who is only competent behind a screen.
